Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner

  • Identify fractures, vugs and internal structure properties present in a core sample
  • Define density, pore-space and mineralogical alterations
  • Provide real-time monitoring of fluid flow and interaction with rock materials for reservoir modeling
  • Model the effects of acidization in carbonate reservoirs

Core Description

  • Identify visible rock composition, texture, structures, fractures, fossils and trace fossils
  • Build depositional and stratigraphic models

Core Gamma

  • Measure natural gamma ray from core, including thorium 232, uranium 238 and potassium 40
  • Correlate data with spectral gamma ray log of wireline logs to determine radioactive materials

Porosity and Permeability Profiling
